Lovers is for adults only
Lovers is a dating service for adults aged 18 or over (or older, where the law of your country sets a higher age). It is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone younger.
Your declaration
By creating an account and continuing to use Lovers, you declare that:
you are 18 years of age or older (or the higher minimum age that applies where you live); and
the date of birth you gave us is true, accurate and your own.
We rely on this declaration to let you use Lovers and to let other members trust that they are talking to an adult.
A false declaration
Giving a false age or date of birth is a serious breach of our Terms of Service.
The person who makes a false declaration is solely responsible for it and for all of its consequences.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lovers and its operator accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or harm arising from a user misrepresenting their age.
What we do
At sign-up, we only accept a date of birth showing that you are 18 or over. Members can report anyone who appears to be under 18, and our team reviews these reports with the highest priority.
We remove accounts we believe belong to minors and may prevent the same email address from being used to sign up again. Where the law requires it, we may cooperate with the competent authorities.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using Lovers, please write to us at support@getlovers.app and we will act quickly.
Your rights
Nothing in this declaration excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
